is a financial planning and investment portfolio services firm. (It’s
pronounced fi-zone, as in financial zone.) Our goal is to provide investment
and financial advice that is not influenced by any other factor than a desire
to serve the needs of our clients.

The financial industry has been tainted by wide-spread fraud in the past few
years. And financial firms have been exposed for their practice of selling
financial products rather than being a client advocate. We will be your advocate
and make your financial success our goal.
Our web site, fizone.com, is educational in nature. It explains why we give
the advice we do, and you may use the site without becoming a client. If you
are accumulating financial assets by investing on your own and through company
401(k)s, and decide you want assistance in managing these assets, we will
work with you to achieve your financial objectives. Unlike big brokerage firms
and many investment advisors that only accept clients with at least $1 million
in assets, we will work with you even if you are just starting out.
ADVISORY SERVICES
We can help you make the most of your 401(k), plan for retirement, develop
and maintain an investment portfolio, and make progress confronting and dealing
with financial issues you’ve been avoiding.
FEES
Ongoing investment reviews and portfolio management are billed as an annual
fee (1% of assets managed) and paid quarterly. Some services are available
on an hourly basis at $50 per hour.

is registered as an investment adviser with the state of California.
Fizone Will Assist with Wealth Accumulation through Education

If you and your spouse earn more than $112,851 ($67,701
single), every dollar you earn over that amount is taxed at 30%, only slightly
less than the highest tax rate of 38.6%. Even though your government taxes

I've been a partner of Fizone since its formation in 2002; I provide
investment advisory services to Fizone clients and write investment
articles for www.fizone.com .
As a vice president and investment counselor at Banc of America Securities,
I advised more than 500 clients, and produced and presented investment
seminars and workshops at our offices around the country. My early
years in the business were spent on the institutional trading floor
of Montgomery Securities and working with private client portfolio
management at Morgan Stanley.

Mike has worked in the financial services industry for over twentythree years.
He served as Vice President, Management Information Systems for The
Benham Group, a California based mutual fund company. There he developed
portfolio management systems and gained a great deal of insight into
mutual fund operations and investment management. He later served as
Chief Information Officer for Montgomery Asset Management, another California
mutual fund company. There he continued to increase his knowledge of
investment management. Later he worked for several years as an
IT consultant doing web site development for brokerage and banking firms.
Mike obtained his masters degree in
finance from Golden Gate University in December 2005. His academic focus was on personal financial
planning and investment management. He has been a registered investment advisor since 2002.
